James Haliburton, AIA, LEED AP
PROFESSIONAL ACCEDITATIONS ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE James graduated from Texas A&M University with multiple architecture degrees. He is currently pursuing doctoral research in Building Information Modeling. James’ technical knowledge of BIM, varied construction experience, and design skills are outstanding assets to the JSA team. James is currently the project architect for the Deerbrook Professional Building, Hochheim Prairie Addition, and the CATE Building for WISD. James is known best around the office for his rampant misspellings. He often points out that many creative geniuses throughout history have been terrible spellers. This is generally regarded as non-sense by the rest in the office, which James is quick to point out that geniuses are often regarded as non-sensical; a by-product of superior intellect. The irony is always lost. James finds time to work when he is not spending time with his daughter, playing rugby, or working on his dissertation. James believes that uncontested scrums are worthless because anything worth doing is worth doing right. James’ Favorite Links Visual Thesaurus (for spelling) www.visualthesaurus.com
